The
solid wood is cut in the saw-miil, founded by Palmiro Poma in 1977, which
in the last five years has been run by his son Piergiuseppe Poma at the
base of Legno Camuna.
The trunks are bought in Switzerland or Germany and are chosen exclusively
to obtain beams of any dimension suitable for the production of wooden
roofs.
The
saw-mill at the moment has available red spruce and douglasia.
The match-boarding used to line the covering is of our own production; it
is made from Northern Spruce, from trunks of small diameters so that there
are only small and unobtrusive knots.
The
factory is in Estonia, called Poma Saw-mill and produces match-boarding
both for Legno Camuna and also other similar companies who require a good
quality product. |
